Northern Colorado Rookie League (AAA ,D2)

Fort Collins Baseball Club offers the Northern Colorado Rookie League (NCRL), which is a sanctioned traveling competitive USSSA -AAA League, hosting State and World Series berths for league teams since 1993. The NCRL hosts single age leagues for for players nine to fourteen years of age as of 4/34/30/09.   • In the 2008 season the NCRL had over 75 teams participating from many Northern Front Range Communities such as Fort Collins, Longmont, Loveland, Greeley, Windsor, Cheyenne, Berthoud, Johnstown, Niwot, and Brighton.
  • Teams whose travel radius exceeds 60 miles from the FCBC Office in  Fort Collins, must contact CLUB PRIOR to completing a Team profile. This allows for discussion of the flexibility of a team whose travel will exceed one hour to work with the club on other viable options with the league to play.

  • League allows for team trong> to games during the spring school time year with travel to games >times a week and some game times ranging in various cities from 5:30 to 8:00pm start times. Games may include up to THREE games per week during school year in the event of BAD spring weather.

  • The NCRL League runs from  early April for NINE weeks of game play ending season playoff held JUNE 27- 29th, with an average of 14 -16 league games. League includes a League end of season Tournament  covering a three day tournament with game play Friday - Sunday.

  • Post-Season tournament berths are awarded for each age level from league and tournament play. State Berths are paid to league teams advancing through post-season with berths awarded to League and Playoff Champions

  • All Scheduling and re-scheduling of the league and tournament games are administrated through FCBC, around each teams tournaments . Most games may be played Monday through Thursday, although some weekend play may be required. MAKE UP GAMES based on Cities field  availability  may limit the flexibility of rescheduling games that accommodate everyone.
    • Fort Collins Players interested in Trying Out for a Travel Team can contact the Coach of teams listed at any time to see if they will hold a separate tryout.

    • FCBC will host of OPEN TRAVEL TEAM TRYOUT in AUGUST of each year for Teams to come to pick up additional players for their travel teams.
