Philosophy

As a coaching staff, we believe coaches are the ultimate role models for their players. We believe baseball should be fun for all our athletes. Our goal is to develop each and every player by teaching them strong baseball fundamentals. We believe parents need to be supportive no matter what position their athlete is playing or what number they are hitting. We believe in creating a family atmosphere where all players feel they are a contributing part of the team.

Goals

The goals for the Colorado Raptors: to teach our players the fundamentals of baseball; to teach our players that good sportsmanship is essential; to teach our players how to be competitive and still have fun; to teach our players that wins and losses are the result of preparation and effort made on the practice field; to teach our players respect for teammates, coaches, players, opponents, and umpires.

Playing Time

All players will have an opportunity to contribute in each game. The coaching staff will determine playing time. Factors impacting playing time will include work ethic, attitude, hitting ability, and demonstrated ability to perform satisfactorily at a designated position.
